I wanted to emphasize a fresh and lively accord of ginger and juniper berries, thus paying homage to the metallic aspect of the geographic north. The North Star is, in fact, a multiple system of stars; this is why I used contrasting notes to represent the various facets of the stars: an intriguing and animalic ambergris, a resinous incense and a woody cypress.”

“Tistar is inspired by the brightest star of the night, Sirius. It is observed during the winter months in the Northern Hemisphere. I created a luminous and icy accord of yuzu and aldehydes. To represent its luminosity, I fused a deep and enveloping peony note with a musky and velvety accord.”

The fragrance interprets its disappearance: its fiery color is represented by a note of fruity osmanthus with hints of peach. The oakmoss accord and a powdery iris indicate the star's passage to a new life cycle.”
