Its very name is intriguing, languorous: Inverness. A land of peat, heather and golden rain, beyond the senses, aptly known as the capital of the Highlands, the largest region in Scotland. Nature reigns free, unspoilt, extraordinary, and the River Ness forges its curves and mysteries. The odours of different varieties of wood rising up from this endless green and bracing empire, each more captivating and fragrant than the last.
Perfumer's inspiration
"I tried to highlight and sublimate each of its sumptuous facets in a voluntarily bold and short formula: I have added a french Orris Butter to bring clean soft powdery tones to the fragrance. I enhanced the salty-iodic tones of Amyris with an overdose of Mate Absolute. Its creaminess is magnified with the milky, sapy tones of Australian Sandalwood. Its animalic facet perfectly blends with the addition of smoky Guaiacwood and sensual vibrating Cedarwoods from the Atlas Mountains and Texas." -Nadège Le Garlantezec
